Our conference interpreters have participated in the international launches of hundreds of essential products on the cosmetics, luxury product and fashion markets. Our added value is undoubtedly derived from this involvement in the creation of product identities in their target language, having actually worked with marketing and subsidiary departments on the written translations of these products, and the strategic choices to be made in terms of terminology!

We are “field” interpreters: informed, engaged, well-read and always up-to-date with the latest trends. In order to provide an excellent simultaneous translation service at events for which we are recruited, our team attaches great importance to quality preparation.

 

For each product launch, training or marketing meeting, we carry out as much research as possible, either through reading online product materials or information provided by our clients, to familiarize ourselves with the DNA of a brand, range or product. Whenever possible, we allow time to meet the speakers before the meeting, so that we can be briefed on their specific requirements if necessary. Our teams always work in the utmost confidentiality; we are often entrusted with confidential information by customers during product launches. The role of conference interpreter requires many skills, including being attentive and present, while remaining discreet. It also demands a curious mind, someone who is not afraid to ask questions about products, and who is willing to read a maximum amount of information beforehand. The best reward following a conference is when others believe we are employees of the company, because our knowledge of the customer and their products never gave away the fact that we are external service providers…

The lion’s share of our work is within the cosmetics, fashion and luxury product sectors. These three fields focus on the life of a product with a strong identity and added value in terms of creativity, style, research and design. We provide simultaneous interpreting for product roadshows, presentations and catwalk collections, training, press conferences, product launches, and also provide support during visits to sites or production units (with journalists, dermatologists and pharmacists for the dermo-cosmetic sector), subsidiary seminars, annual conventions (retail, distribution networks) and showroom presentations, etc.
